Offer Description
The offer is aimed at a candidate who meets the following requirements:
- holds a Master's degree in English Philology,
- is fluent in Belarusian,
- has experience in conducting teaching classes in Belarusian and English,
- possesses knowledge of Belarusian literature, with a particular emphasis on literary and cultural issues,
- knowledge of Belarusian folklore and the traditional folk culture of Belarus,
- practical knowledge of Belarusian musical traditions is highly desirable, including the ability to play folk musical instruments,
- an additional asset will be experience in popularization activities related to Belarusian culture, as well as interests encompassing Belarusian literature and folklore.
- knowledge and use of social media (including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn) is welcome.

The competition is open to individuals who meet the requirements specified in Article 113 of the Law on Higher Education and Science of 20 July 2018 (Journal of Laws of 2024, item 1571, Article 113 as amended) and who meet the following requirements:
- Master's degree in English philology,
- documented experience in conducting teaching classes in Belarusian and English, using modern technologies.

The candidate should be prepared and have experience in conducting teaching classes in the practical teaching of the English and Belarusian languages.

Eligibility criteria
- documented experience in conducting teaching activities at the academic level in English and Belarusian – 5 pt.,
- possesses excellent social skills and the ability to cooperate with others – 3 pt.,
- experience in popularization activities related to Belarusian culture – 5 pt.,
- An additional asset will be documented proficiency in the Russian language – 5 pt.
Selection process
- Competition committee begins working no later than 14 days after the deadline for submission of documents.
- Formal evaluation of submitted proposals.
- Call to provide additional or missing documents if necessary.
- Selection of candidates for the interview stage.
- Interviews for candidates who meet the formal requirements.
- The committee has the right to request external reviews of candidates' work or to ask candidates to conduct teaching assignments with an opportunity for student evaluation.
- The chair of the competition committee announces the results and informs the candidates. This information will include justification with a reference to candidates' strengths and weaknesses. Submitted documents will be sent back to candidates.
Additional comments
The selected candidate will have a significant impact on the teaching development of the unit in which they will be employed.
He/she will also have the opportunity to participate in research projects, which will enable his/her further scientific development in the fields of literary studies and glottodidactics.
