Lecturer - Psychology
Due to our continued growth, an exciting opportunity has arisen within the Department of Psychology for innovative, and student-centred Lecturers to contribute to the continued development, and delivery of our Psychology programmes at University College Birmingham.
We offer a suite of undergraduate and postgraduate Psychology degrees, and we are seeking dynamic academics who will play a key role in shaping curriculum development and delivering high-quality teaching and learning.
As an evolving and ambitious department, you will be motivated by the creative possibilities this role offers. You will champion innovation and contribute to transformational programmes that equip graduates with advanced knowledge and skills relevant to contemporary developments in Psychology.
In this role, you will deliver excellent teaching, learning, and student support across our Psychology programmes, enhancing the overall student experience and contributing to exceptional student outcomes. You should be passionate about teaching Psychology in Higher Education, and demonstrate an appreciation of the varied and applied nature of psychological theory in real-world contexts. Experience of teaching in Higher Education is essential, as is an understanding of working to professional body standards on our BPS-accredited Psychology degrees.
We particularly welcome applicants with expertise in Sport and Exercise Psychology, Health Psychology, or other applied Psychology fields.
