About The Job

The School of Business at the Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS) is seeking motivated and forward-thinking individuals to join our Finance discipline. We welcome applicants with expertise and/or strong interest in Financial Data Science, Quantitative Finance, and Risk Management & Analytics.

We are looking for candidates who are committed to high-quality teaching, impactful research, and active engagement with industry and the broader financial community.

The successful candidate will contribute to a range of academic responsibilities, including:

• Designing and delivering undergraduate and postgraduate courses
• Conducting rigorous academic and/or applied research
• Contributing to curriculum development and university service
• Engaging in industry outreach and partnerships
• Supporting initiatives related to financial innovation, data analytics, and risk management

Job Requirements

• A Ph.D. in Finance or closely related field.
• A strong research portfolio and/or demonstrates research potential.
• Preference will be given to candidates with industry/research experience or interest in financial data science, quantitative finance, risk management and analytics.
