As a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer, you will coordinate and teach into the Bachelor of Science (Extended), focusing on supporting talented Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students. You will have the opportunity to foster their academic success, collaborate with Faculty leaders, and contribute to strategic Indigenous programs. Your role will include teaching core science subjects, providing comprehensive student support, and participating in curriculum development, ensuring a transformative educational experience for diverse cohorts.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Teach Core Science Subjects: Deliver foundational learning across mathematics, biology, chemistry, and physics with discipline experts.
  • Provide Comprehensive Student Support: Mentor students, offer tailored guidance, and facilitate access to academic and pastoral resources.
  • Collaborate on Program Development: Work with Faculty leaders to enhance curriculum and support Indigenous student success.
  • Engage in Strategic Outreach: Promote the BSc Extended program to prospective students and contribute to Indigenous strategy formulation.

The Science Secretariat is the administrative unit for the Faculty of Science and all its teaching, research, and commercial activities. The Secretariat is responsible for the policy development, planning, implementation, and ongoing management of Faculty programs.

Please note: This role requires current valid work rights for Australia. Visa sponsorship is not available.
