As a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Applied Mathematics at the University of Melbourne, you'll conduct high-level research and lead a vigorous research program in your area of expertise. You'll shape the future of mathematics education by teaching and supervising students at undergraduate, MSc, and PhD levels, while contributing to a diverse and inclusive academic environment.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Conduct Innovative Research: Lead high-impact research in applied mathematics, publish in top-tier journals, and secure external research grants.
- Deliver Excellence in Teaching: Develop and deliver engaging lectures, supervise research students, and contribute to curriculum development in applied mathematics.
- Foster Academic Leadership: Participate in school administration, engage in professional activities, and contribute to outreach programmes.
- Build Collaborations: Develop research links with other schools and departments nationally and internationally.
