• Base salary range: Level B, $118,150–$139,812 / Level C, $144,143 - $165,809 p.a. (pro-rata) plus 17% superannuation.

About the opportunity

• Deliver and coordinate high-quality teaching in International Business and Strategy at undergraduate and postgraduate levels; contribute to curriculum development, unit coordination, and supervise Honours, Masters, and PhD students, including managing student placements and industry engagement.
• Undertake independent and collaborative research to produce high-impact publications in leading journals; contribute to securing competitive research funding; actively engage in national and international research collaborations to enhance the School’s reputation.
• Contribute to School and University governance, leadership, and strategic initiatives; engage with industry, government, and community stakeholders; actively participate in professional associations; and support inclusion, diversity, and social impact objectives.

About you

• PhD in an academic field relevant to the discipline (International Business and Strategy or a related field).
• Demonstrate an emerging record of excellence in the development and delivery of curricula and the use of innovative teaching approaches, assessment and materials for units and courses.
• Experience in the mentoring of junior colleagues, demonstrators and tutors, where relevant.
• An emerging track record in excellence in research at a national level evidenced by peer-reviewed journal articles published in high quality journals.
• An emerging track record of successful competitive funding application, relative to opportunity.
• Demonstrable experience of involvement in public engagement activities that promote research and/or education outcomes, government and industry.
