About the Job
Join our innovative team to inspire the Occupational Therapists of the future. We have many exciting developments in our new and expanding programme that includes both apprenticeship and undergraduate programmes and we need Occupational Therapists with a passion for student education and the profession to join us in delivering these programmes. Due to our programme development and expansion, we are seeking to employ a Lecturer/ Senior Lecturer in Occupational Therapy to help us achieve our ambitious plans.
You will teach within a department delivering Occupational Therapy and other health related programmes.
About You
You will have a degree in Occupational Therapy and be a member of the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). In addition, you will have experience of mentoring/supervising students either academically or clinically.
We are looking to appoint a HCPC registered Occupational Therapist with a broad range of practice and community experience, able to teach in many areas across the curriculum and more widely contribute to interprofessional modules within Allied Health.
You must be a member of the Higher Education Academy (HEA) or have capacity to obtain membership within 12 months of appointment.
This appointment will involve practical and theoretical teaching across the undergraduate and apprenticeship occupational therapy degree programmes. You will be expected to support further developments within the department, both in a profession specific and multi-disciplinary context.
