Would you like the opportunity to play a key role in the planning and delivery of nursing provision within the School of Nursing & Allied Health at Birmingham Newman University? In this role, you will deliver engaging teaching, support clinical skills development, assess student learning, and contribute to the continuous enhancement of our curriculum. You will also provide academic and pastoral support to students, helping them to thrive in both academic study and practice placements.

At Senior Lecturer level, you will additionally provide academic leadership within programmes, lead curriculum development initiatives, mentor colleagues, and play a key role in shaping the strategic direction of mental health nursing education within theSchool.

Candidates should haveup-to-dateknowledge of mental health nursing, hold a minimum of BSc(Hons)andcurrent NMC registrationas a Mental Health Nurseand either have a recognised teaching qualificationor HEA fellowshipor be willing to work towards one, supported by the University.
