The School of Civil and Environmental Engineering (CEE), which is under the College of Engineering, aspires to be a leading school for Sustainable Urban Systems. Currently, it has over 50 faculty members and more than 1,500 students, and is rapidly expanding its range of educational and research activities. The School offers the following three programmes at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels: Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering and Maritime Studies. The faculty in the School has led major university-wide strategic research thrusts in space creation, water research and sustainable built environment. Going forward, we would like to strengthen our research and education capabilities in the areas related to environmental engineering.

We invite applications for Lecturer or Senior lecturer Position in Environmental Engineering.

Qualifications

Applicants should possess a PhD degree in Environmental Engineering. The successful candidate should demonstrate with expertise in the areas such as Environmental impact assessment and environmental policy, Circular economy and sustainable development, Environmental risk assessment and mitigation, Energy, carbon management, and decarbonisation strategies, Urban sustainability and environmental planning, Interdisciplinary problem-solving and systems thinking.
