Singapore University of Social Sciences is one of Singapore's six autonomous universities and its mission is to provide lifelong education that equips learners to serve society. The School of Science and Technology (SST) promotes profession-centric and career-ready education in Science and Technology. Our inclusive, immersive and in-employment education transforms SST graduates into professionals equipped with the relevant knowledge, employable skills and work experiences.

SST is now looking to recruit passionate full-time faculty members in the area of InfoComm Technology who are aligned with our education aspiration. We welcome candidates with a strong passion for teaching, research, and industry collaboration to join our team.

What You Will Be Doing

Key responsibilities:

• Teaching and developing courses for full-time and part-time undergraduate degree programmes, including designing assignments and assessments.
• Supervising student capstone projects and collaborating with domain experts on interdisciplinary initiatives.
• Conducting academic and/or applied research independently and within a team.
• Engaging with industry partners for student projects and research collaborations.

Job Requirements

• Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
• Strong expertise or industry experience in growing areas such as cybersecurity, cloud computing, software engineering, AI and machine learning is an advantage.
• Proven record of high-quality research publications in international peer-reviewed journals and conferences.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and engage with external stakeholders.
