Position Description The Area of Marketing and Supply Chain Management in the Rawls College of Business at Texas Tech University invites applications for a full-time, nine-month position at the rank of Lecturer with an appointment beginning in Fall 2026.

The Rawls College of Business is AACSB-accredited. It offers a BBA degree with majors in accounting, energy commerce, finance, information systems, marketing, management, and supply chain management. It has three MBA programs: Professional MBA, Online MBA, and the STEM MBA. It also offers MS degrees in accounting, data science, finance, and marketing research & analytics. In addition, it offers a Ph.D. with concentrations in accounting, finance, information systems & quantitative science, management, and marketing.
About the Department/School/Area
The Area of Marketing and Supply Chain Management offers a Bachelor of Business Administration in both Marketing and Supply Chain Management. In addition, students can enhance their abilities by completing a concentration in sales or supply chain management. The area also offers an online MS in Marketing Research & Analytics degree.
Major/Essential Functions
At Texas Tech University, the Lecturer/Senior Lecturer title designates a full-time, non-tenure-acquiring role with primary duties in teaching organized classes and/or instructional labs.
Faculty Qualifications
- At a minimum, candidates must have a graduate business degree in logistics, supply chain management, engineering, science, business or a closely related field;
- A commitment to teaching excellence as evidenced by both the breadth of teaching experience as well as high teaching evaluations (or major teaching awards)
- Expertise in core supply chain management-related functions (i.e., logistics, operations, and sourcing).
Preferred Qualifications
In addition to the required qualifications, individuals with the following preferred qualifications are strongly encouraged to apply: Ph.D. in logistics or supply chain management, meaningful industry work experience in supply chain management roles, and university-level teaching expertise in supply chain management courses. Exceptional communication skills, experience with teaching online and evidence of having student centered service orientation.
