We are seeking a Lecturer to join School of Education, Faculty of Creative Industries, Education and Social Justice.
We invite an emerging academic to join the School of Education at QUT as a Lecturer. In this role, you will contribute to learning and teaching, research, and engagement that advances education, learning, and human development. This position offers the opportunity to build your academic profile while working collaboratively with colleagues to deliver high-quality learning experiences and contribute to an emerging research agenda. You will bring discipline expertise to education-focused programs and scholarship within a collegial and supportive academic environment.

What you need to succeed
- A doctoral qualification in Education or relevant discipline with demonstrated expertise relevant to Initial Teacher Education (ITE).
- Demonstrated experience in effective teaching in higher education, including the ability to apply scholarly and innovative approaches to learning and assessment.
- Demonstrated potential or emerging record in research and scholarship, evidenced through publications, research activity, or collaborative research engagement.
- Demonstrated knowledge of cognitive psychology, neuroscience, and behaviour relevant to education, learning, or human development contexts.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and contribute positively to academic teams and professional activities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills appropriate for teaching, research, and stakeholder engagement.
- To be eligible for appointment to this role, you will possess the following:
Registered or registerable as a Teacher by the Queensland College of Teachers.
