commence as soon as possible, on a one-year temporary or two-year
fixed-term basis, with the possibility of renewal subject to
satisfactory performance.
About the Institute and the Master Programme
The HKU Institute for Climate and Carbon Neutrality (ICCN) is a premier transdisciplinary research, educational, and stakeholder-engagement hub dedicated to inspiring solutions for climate change and leading the global transition to net zero.
The Institute offers the Master of Climate Governance and Risk Management (MCGRM), a unique interdisciplinary taught postgraduate programme hosted by the Faculty of Social Sciences in partnership with the Faculties of Science, Engineering, Architecture, Law, and Business and Economics. The programme bridges scientific rigor with strategic corporate action, equipping aspiring leaders with high-level expertise in corporate sustainability, ESG compliance, climate finance, and nature-based solutions. A core pillar of the curriculum is Climate Practice —connecting academic theory with hands-on experiential learning, corporate decarbonization projects, and field-based risk assessment.
