Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree in Mathematics or a related field. The Department welcomes candidates from all areas of mathematics, with particular interest in those whose research enhances or complements existing strengths. Appointees will be expected to contribute to undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, supervise graduate students, conduct high-quality research, and participate in administrative duties at both the Departmental and Faculty levels. A highly competitive salary, commensurate with qualifications and experience, will be offered, in addition to annual leave, professional leave and medical benefits. At current rates, salaries tax does not exceed 15% of gross income. The appointment will attract a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 15% of basic salary. Housing benefits will be provided as applicable. A start-up package tailored to the appointee’s experience and research needs will be provided.
