Offer Description

Applicants must pass the requirements specified in Article 113 of the Polish Law on Higher Education of 20 July 2018 (published in the Journal of Laws of the Republic of Poland, Dz. U. no 1571 from 2024 with later changes) and meet the following requirements:

• a doctoral degree (PhD) in Foreign Language Education, Applied Linguistics, or a related discipline relevant to the education and training of English language teachers;
• a relevant academic qualification in English Philology or Applied Linguistics;
• demonstrated experience in teaching at the higher education level, particularly in the field of English language teaching methodology;
• demonstrated experience in supervising undergraduate and/or graduate dissertations and conducting diploma seminars in the field of English language teaching methodology;
• professional experience gained outside higher education, particularly experience as an English language teacher in primary or secondary education; possession of a formal teaching qualification at an advanced professional level will be considered an advantage;
• experience in developing teaching and learning materials and in integrating modern technologies into foreign language education;
• evidence of continuous professional development through participation in training programmes, professional development courses, and conferences in the field of foreign language education, as well as a record of academic publications;
• ability to work effectively as part of a team and willingness to contribute to the development and continuous improvement of the degree programme;
• ability to deliver classes using learner-centred and active learning approaches, as well as e-learning tools and digital educational technologies;
• demonstrated experience in the education and training of prospective English language teachers;
• experience in international academic cooperation, including participation in programmes such as Erasmus+,
• availability – performing work within the times stipulated in the schedule.

Offered salary: 4.000,00 PLN-4.200,00 PLN and seniority pay.
