Lecturer/Associate Professor/Professor in Embedded Systems, Sensors and Electronics

Job Responsibilities

• Teach and assess at least 3 courses from the following 5 core subjects:
  • Programming with Python
  • Embedded Systems
  • Sensors & Actuators
  • Measurement Technologies
  • Analogue & Digital Electronics
• Develop practical teaching materials and laboratory exercises in embedded programming, sensor systems, electronics, and measurement technologies.
• Engage in applied research and publish in peer-reviewed journals.
• Collaborate with industry partners on embedded systems, IoT, smart sensing, and electronics development projects.
• Supervise student projects involving sensor integration, embedded control, electronic circuits, and prototype development.

Job Qualifications

• Master’s degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Embedded Systems, Computer Engineering, Automation, or a closely related field.
• Strong background in embedded systems, sensors, measurement technologies, and analogue/digital electronics.
• Familiarity with Python or object-oriented programming.
• Experience with microcontrollers, sensors, actuators, electronic circuits, and laboratory measurement equipment.
• Demonstrated excellence or clear potential in university-level teaching, especially at the undergraduate level.
• Experience in supervising student projects, theses, or embedded/electronics competitions is highly desirable.
• Practical industry experience in embedded systems, IoT, electronics, or sensor applications is an advantage.
• Proficiency in English; knowledge of German and/or Chinese is a plus but not required.
