Requires impactful engagement with research or equivalent scholarly activity to support excellence in teaching and learning and the student experience

About You:

• You will be a professional and experienced Animal Training Instructor or Clinical Animal Behaviourist, with extensive and current knowledge of the animal training and behaviour industry
• You may hold professional standing with bodies such as the Animal Behaviour Training Council
• Hold a teaching qualification or be willing to complete a teaching development programme
• Highly motivated, self-reliant and enthusiastic and passionate about delivering the highest quality of teaching, learning and student experience to our animal behaviour and training students
• A record of good interpersonal, communication and team working skills, also the ability to manage your own time
• Have post qualification/industry experience within the subject field, with research practice being advantageous
• Evidence of engagement with research and scholarly activity and a willingness to further develop and contribute to this area as a university academic
