Opportunity

Surrey International Institute is seeking an experienced Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Marketing, and experience in the following areas would be an advantage: Supply Chain Management with Analytics, Business Management and Analytics, Management Information Systems, Applied Analytics in Business, Business Analytics Consultancy, and Fundamentals of Business Analytics.

You will also work closely with the University of Surrey's module leaders in
delivering modules on the China campus.

Qualification:

A Ph. D. in the discipline of business management with
analytics or a closely related field and a recent record of scholarship published in peer-reviewed journals are preferred.

• A
  Doctoral degree in the discipline of business management with analytics or a closely related field, preferably with teaching/industrial
  experience.
• The successful applicants should be able to design and teach courses in business management with analytics and teach a
  broader area of fundamentals of business management with analytics at the undergraduate level.
• Candidate should have at least two
  years of teaching experience.
• Awareness of quality assurance processes in UK higher education.
• Ability to work with minimum
  supervision, maintain effective communications with colleagues, and use initiative to resolve problems or find information.
• UK and
  International teaching experience are preferable.
• A certificate in teaching qualification is preferable

l The salary offered will be commensurate with the candidate's qualifications and experience, but will compare
favourably with leading Chinese Universities.

• Planning, delivering, and critically reviewing various teaching and assessment activities

• Setting and/or promptly marking coursework, practical sessions, and examinations, and providing
  appropriate feedback to students according to marking rubrics.
• Providing regular consultation times, personal tutoring, and
  extra-curricular support for students seeking guidance on their subjects, advice on assessments, or related issues.
• Participating in
  peer classroom observations or other staff development initiatives to improve quality.
