Offer Description
The CSIC´s Vice-presidency for International Affairs (https://www.csic.es/en/international/about-us) is seeking a Legal Affairs Officer.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the drafting, negotiation and management of international legal agreements, including EU Consortium Agreements and will be responsible for the following tasks:
- To draft legal documents, specifically LoI, MOU, EU Consortium Agreements, International Agreements and Membership Agreements.
- To manage multiple legal cases simultaneously, overseeing timelines, resources, and collaboration with research teams and foreign institutions.
- To identify and manage legal risks within research project or at organisational level.
- To negotiate and manage legal documents in accordance with the requirements of national and foreign law.
- To follow-up all the procedure from the drafting to the signature, including the management of the associated internal databases.
- To assist in informative sessions and training;

Eligibility criteria
- University degree in Law. Applicants with qualifications obtained abroad must be in possession of the corresponding Spanish homologation credential or, where appropriate, the corresponding certificate of equivalence to Spanish degrees
- Have a thorough knowledge of one of either English or Spanish and a satisfactory knowledge of the other language to the extent necessary for the performance of his/her duties;
- Good knowledge Office applications, especially spreadsheets (MS Excel);
- Good communication skills (experience speaking in public, to groups, or on line);
