The Stephen M. Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan invites applicants for a part-time LEO Intermittent Lecturer position in Strategy for the fall 2026 semester.
This position is to teach a course on the topic of corporate restructuring. The instructor should have high-level, executive expertise in corporate restructuring, strategy, and consulting, with deep practical knowledge of restructuring issues as they relate to corporate strategy, organizational transformation, financial performance, and enterprise value creation. The ideal candidate will have senior-level consulting or corporate experience advising organizations through restructuring, turnaround, or transformation initiatives and will be able to bring real-world executive perspective into the classroom. The candidate should also have the ability to adapt course content for audiences at different levels. The candidate must be able to deliver course content, facilitate classroom discussion, advise students on both course material and career planning, and provide feedback and grades on course assignments.
This is a part-time 0.083% effort position that will co-teach a 1.5 credit course (0.75 credits/8.34% effort) beginning 8/25/2026 and ending 12/31/2026. Reappointment is possible in accordance with the LEO CBA. The expected offer date is by June 30, 2026
Candidates will be expected to teach Strategy undergraduate and graduate level courses.
A Master Degree in Strategy is required, PhD is preferred. Candidates should also have strong teaching skills as evidenced by prior classroom performance.
Development of teaching cases will be a plus.
