The Communication Arts Department at Illinois College invites candidates for a 1-year benefits-eligible, part-time/full-time visiting position with expertise in the areas of Social Media/New Media and Strategic Communication to begin in Fall 2024. Candidates for the position must hold a Master’s degree in Communication or some related field and have experience teaching at the college level.

Since 1829, Illinois College has transformed the lives of undergraduate students. Founded by abolitionists, Illinois College was the first college in Illinois to graduate students as well as host a chapter of Phi Beta Kappa. The College is focused on student success and provides many opportunities for faculty-student interaction beyond the classroom, including collaborative research projects, international study-travel, and mentoring/advising. The College is located in historic Jacksonville, Illinois, 30 miles west of the capital city of Springfield and 70 miles north of St. Louis, Missouri.
