Position duties include, but are not limited to:
- Provide college-wide leadership for library services in collaboration with the Dean of Student Success and Academic & Student Affairs leadership, supporting teaching, learning, student success, and equitable access to resources.
- Create and maintain instructional and learning support materials, including online tutorials, research guides, and technology-enhanced resources that support academic success across all learning modalities.
- Serve as a faculty resource for instructional and faculty development by supporting effective pedagogy and integrating library and research skills into curriculum and program design.
- Coordinate core learning resource and access services, including circulation, reserves, interlibrary loan, cataloging support, and electronic resources, and innovate for the evolution of additional student-facing academic support functions as needs emerge.
- Assist students, faculty, and staff with research support, learning technologies, and academic resource navigation, both in person and through digital platforms.
- Partner with faculty and staff to design and deliver integrated learning opportunities that leverage innovative technologies and coordinated academic support services.
- Initiate and participate in outreach, shared governance, and continuous improvement efforts related to library services, student learning resources, and academic support environments.
Work Location: Itasca Campus (Regular travel to all campuses is required).
Work Hours: Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week; A portion of the full-time position includes limited summer work.
Salary Range: $51,303 - $71,893/annually
This salary range is for initial placement only. If currently teaching within Minnesota State, current salary will remain the same.
