Wellspring Homecare dba Ann's Rest Home and Burgoyne Rest is an organization that supports the decision of our seniors to live independently, comfortably, and safely in our residential homes.

We are seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse Operations Manager to oversee and enhance the efficiency of our operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical environments, demonstrating expertise in patient care and operational standards. This role requires a proactive leader who can effectively manage staff, ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, and improve service delivery across our facilities. The ideal candidate has exceptional interpersonal skills, a passion for working with seniors, the ability to multi-task, and is team oriented. The ideal candidate can provide care consistent with patient goals.

The ideal person must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with the ability to interact with staff, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies, and the public. Must have the patience, and enthusiasm as well as willingness to handle diverse personalities. Must have knowledge of the policies and procedures that guides homecare, as well as knowledge of the laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertains to rest home care.

Responsibilities include:

• Oversee daily operations within the healthcare facility, ensuring adherence to established standards and protocols.
• Manage staff schedules, training, and performance evaluations to promote a high level of patient care.
• Manages admissions and discharge planning processes to ensure smooth transitions for patients.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices related to vital signs monitoring and basic life support.
• Lead initiatives for continuous improvement in operational efficiency and patient satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a healthcare management role, preferably as an Operations Manager or similar position.
• Strong understanding of medical practices, urgent care protocols, and infectious disease care.
• Familiarity with vital signs assessment and basic life support techniques.
• Experience in discharge planning processes is highly desirable.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in maintaining operational standards.
• Ability to work collaboratively across departments while managing multiple priorities effectively.
