Lifeguard
The University of Bristol is looking for a qualified lifeguard, to oversee our busy indoor swimming pool.
Applicants will be experienced leisure professionals who will play a key role in creating a welcoming, friendly atmosphere and uphold the University's values and behaviours. Roles include swimming pool supervision, cleaning of pool area, changing rooms and entrance, and covering on the welcome desk when not lifeguarding. Applicants will be customer focused, have a positive and problem-solving attitude at all times and demonstrate an aptitude for teamwork.
These positions will complete the swimming pool rota ensuring a safe and effective swimming pool operation. Please mention in your application which of the hours you are looking to apply for.
What will you be doing?
Responsibilities include customer supervision, cleaning of changing rooms and other areas, setting up and down sports equipment, and working from the Welcome Desk.

Additional information
Contract type: Open ended
Work pattern: Part time between 5 and 11 hours per week
Shift pattern: Various available
Please note shifts over 6 hours include a 30 minute unpaid break.
School/Unit: Centre for Sport, Exercise and Health
