flexible class scheduling.
Our noncredit class schedule is released twice a year: spring/summer and fall. Classes can be as short as 90 minutes or up to 20 hours in length. Individual classes are typically only offered once or twice each semester. To see a list of our current offerings, visit www.pstcc.edu/wcd.
Instructors are expected to have a high level of expertise in the subject of their proposed class, and some experience in teaching or training others. While compensation can vary depending on the type of class being offered, noncredit instructors are generally paid starting at either $40 per class hour or 60 percent of total course fees. Lifelong learning instructors work on a temporary, part-time contract.
As part of the employment application, please include in your cover letter or as a separate attachment, which topic you have an interest in teaching, your experience in that topic, and a draft outline of the class flow and activities.
