Position Summary
The Department of Clinical and Administrative Pharmacy is seeking an outstanding candidate to join our faculty and provide leadership in clinical practice, teaching and scholarly activity. This is a full time, non-tenure track position at the rank of limited term clinical instructor. This position will be located in Albany, Georgia.
The primary duties of the faculty member include didactic and experiential teaching of pharmacy students, development and maintenance of an active clinical practice site, participating in scholarship, and be actively engaged in citizenship to the college.

Minimum Qualifications
- Applicants must hold a Pharm.D. degree.
Additional Requirements
- Candidates must have a current license or demonstrate the ability to become licensed to practice in the state of Georgia.
Relevant/Preferred Education, Experience, Licensure, and/or Certification
The successful candidate will have one year of residency, post-doctoral training, or fellowship training. Teaching background, evidence of scholarship of teaching and learning, or Board certification in pharmacotherapy or subspecialties are preferred.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Competencies
Preference will be given to candidates with the ability to develop and maintain clinical practice and scholarship in ambulatory care, internal medicine, family medicine, infectious disease, cardiology, or community practice. In addition, preference will be given to candidates with strong communication skills and the potential for excellence in teaching.
Duties/Responsibilities
Instruction
- Teach and coordinate courses or equivalent team-taught courses throughout the P1 to P4 curriculum.
- Teach didactic course topics (e.g., Pharmacotherapy, Clinical Seminar) and Skills/Laboratory-based classes (e.g., Applied Pharmacy Practice).

- Develop a recognized program of scholarship
