Job Summary
The Department of Behavioral Sciences is seeking applications for Limited Term Lecturers (LTLs) in the social work program for the fall 2026 and spring 2027 semesters. LTL positions are temporary, non-benefits eligible, part-time positions hired each semester on an as-needed basis. The Primary Responsibilities of successful candidates will be to:
1. Teach on campus and/or online courses in Bachelor of Arts in Social Work (BASW) or Master of Social Work (MSW) program.
2. Follow the syllabus and curricula provided according to the most recent Educational and Professional Accreditation Standards (EPAS) set by Council of Social Work Education (CSWE).
3. Maintain office hours and provide feedback to students in a timely manner. For practicum courses, collect and submit the practicum data from the Practicum Supervisors to the Program Director for assessment purposes.
4. Maintain FERPA and Title X certification.
5. Understand and adhere to University policies and guidelines.
6. Have competency in effective and appropriate in-person and online (synchronous and asynchronous) delivery instruction.

Education
- Master’s degree in Social Work from a CSWE-accredited program. PhD or DSW in Social Work or allied field is preferable but not required.
