Position Summary
The Department of Chemistry at the University of Georgia is seeking applications for a non-tenure track, Limited-Term Lecturer position to begin August 1, 2026. The Limited-Term Lecturer will teach in the department’s Organic Chemistry Course sequence and participate in service to the Department, School, and University. Active participation in departmental activities, maintaining a collegial work environment, and professional development are expected.
Minimum Qualifications
An earned doctorate degree in Chemistry is required.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Competencies
The successful applicant will have a background teaching in both large and small classes utilizing active learning pedagogy. Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills are essential. Strong applicants will have the ability to utilize technology in teaching.
