Essential Functions

- Reviews all documentation received for completeness and ensures that appropriate data and documentation are entered in the loan origination system.
- Communicates with loan processor regarding documentation needed to process the loan and maintain effective follow up to ensure receipt of needed documents.
- Assists loan processor to gather information to clear underwriting conditions. Responds to inquiries and follows up with key individuals promptly to resolve problems.
- Communicates directly with loan officer, loan processor, closer, title companies and insurance companies to ensure that loans close in a timely manner.
- Communicates directly with loan applicants to ensure success with point-of-sale application tools and viewing electronic documents.
- Stays up to date on all current, applicable industry standards.
- Maintains complete and accurate information within the loan processing system while effectively managing a high volume of loans.
- Assists in reviewing or ensuring proper documentation or procedures or output of more complex activities.
- Provides assistance and coverage for loan processing and/or loan closing as requested.
- Assumes additional responsibilities as requested.
The pay range for this position is $24.00 to $27.00 per hour and is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business or organizational needs and affordability.

Requirements
- <ul><li>Associate’s degree or equivalent education in a business-related field preferred. High School diploma or equivalent required.</li><li>At least one year of experience in a mortgage processing, origination and/or closing role preferred. Would consider candidates with progressively responsible customer facing retail banking experience.</li><li>Experience preferred in use of ICE Encompass Loan Origination and Point-of-sale software.</li><li>Experience in use of Microsoft Office products (including Outlook, Teams, Excel & Word).</li><li>Well-developed ability to manage multiple tasks/projects and deadlines simultaneously.</li><li>Strong verbal and written communication skills.</li><li>Effective time and resource management.</li><li>Strong interpersonal skills.</li></ul>
