Physical Requirements: The physical requirements for this position include regularly sitting, standing, walking, with some pushing, pulling, and/or lifting objects weighing up to 10lbs and occasional pushing, pulling, and/or lifting objects up to 50lbs.

Shift: 3 – 12 hour shifts plus a flexible floating shift. Holidays and weekends will be rotated.

Job Summary: Join a dynamic team dedicated to providing high-quality pediatric care at the University of Kentucky’s General Pediatrics and Twilight Clinic. We are seeking a dedicated and patient-focused Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support our family-centered clinic. This role offers a unique and flexible schedule: three 12-hour shifts per week, with one additional floating 4-hour shift – giving you full-time benefits with more days off to enjoy life outside of work. As an LPN in our Twilight Clinic, you will play a vital role in providing timely, compassionate care to children and families when they need it most. You’ll work alongside experienced pediatricians and healthcare professionals in a setting that blends clinical excellence with the comfort of a child-friendly atmosphere. The LPN is a member of the multidisciplinary ambulatory team responsible for patient care, patient satisfaction, and clinical outcomes. The LPN performs the duties they are trained in, such as starting IVs, performing simple wound dressings, and notifying the RN of any changes or abnormalities in the patient’s condition. This position is located off-campus in Lexington, KY at UKHC KY Clinic South.
