Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role
Te Herenga Waka - Victoria University of Wellington is currently recruiting a Mātanga Panoni - Change Manager to join the Timetabling Project (TT) and Future Web Programme (FWP) team within Te Tai Matihiko - Digital Solutions on a 12-month fixed-term, full-time contract until December 2026.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver the change plan and work with stakeholders across the university to enable successful and sustainable change adoption and benefit realisation.
- Provide advice, expertise to university initiatives and programmes that have significant scope for change impacting people, process and systems.

You will be a proactive and adaptable professional who thrives in dynamic environments and is committed to delivering positive outcomes for people and organisations. With a strong customer focus and the ability to take initiative, you will bring both strategic insight and practical execution to change initiatives.
Key requirements:
- Demonstrated experience leading organisational transformation and embedding sustainable change.
- Proven success in managing multiple projects simultaneously, with a strong emphasis on customer service and stakeholder engagement.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across user groups, vendors, stakeholders, and all levels of management.
- Solid knowledge and application of recognised change management frameworks (e.g. Prosci, ADKAR, Kotter’s Change Model).
- Strong organisational skills, ensuring compliance with policies and effective administration throughout the change process.
