The Mailroom Administrator is an integral member of the Student Housing/Mailroom team within Campus Life department. This role is pivotal as a first point of contact for internal and external clients with a strong commitment to customer service. The position is responsible for overseeing the provision of mail and courier services to and from the University, and for undertaking other administrative duties as required.
This position also manages Bond University’s temporary accommodation for 3 VIP guest rooms.
About the person
The successful candidate will have a strong background in Customer Service with 2-3 years’ experience. This combined with previous experience processing mail or in a similar role. Excellent administration and organisational skills are required, along with the ability to prioritise workload, meet deadlines and demonstrate flexibility in dealing with people in competing demands.
Self-motivation and the ability to work as part of a collaborative team is essential and competency in Microsoft Office. Experience in the Tertiary Education Sector is favourable.
Salary details
The hourly rate for this casual role is $43.36 (includes 25% casual loading) plus 11.5% superannuation.
