Maintenance Associate
Job Summary
To perform a variety of skilled maintenance tasks and repairs to ensure a smoothly run campus and learning environment.
Job Duties
Install electrical conduit, wiring, switching devices, controls, outlets, fixtures, motors, and other similar equipment. Perform plumbing to include assembling, installing, repairing; pipes, fittings, and fixtures of heating, water, and sewer systems, opening clogged drains. Perform carpenter duties which include the alteration, repair, and maintenance of buildings, floors, roofs, stairways, partitions, doors, windows, scaffolding forms, wood fixtures and furniture. Maintain tools in a clean and working condition and observe safety procedures when using tools. Complete furniture moves to include event set-ups/break-downs Maintain building appearance and cleanliness of buildings and grounds. Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
One year of related experience.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Knowledge of carpentry tools, electrical, plumbing, and other maintenance practices. Knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions.
Work Hours: 1:00 p.m. - 9:30 p.m. Monday - Friday.
