Maintenance Engineer (Electrician)
We are looking for a Maintenance Engineer (Electrician) to work across the University. You will carry out operational support, conduct maintenance inspections and ensure compliance with statutory legislation.
You’ll need previous experience of building maintenance and installation in a similar role and will need to demonstrate that you meet all the essential criteria in the person specification.
You’ll be able to participate in a roster covering 6 Saturdays per year. In addition, overtime and call outs may be required.

This post is based at the University of East Anglia, Norwich, Norfolk, UK.
This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. Appointment will be subject to a criminal record check at Enhanced level from the Disclosure and Barring Service, including a check of the Child Barred List. It is an offence to apply for this role if you are barred from engaging in regulated activity relevant to children.
This full-time post is available from 22 December 2025 on an indefinite basis.
