"Maintenance Part Time Mount Pleasant"

This position will have the responsibility of assisting with the daily operations of the Facilities Department.

Examples of Duties

1. Supports and serves as a role model for our mission, vision, strategic and service initiatives.
2. Adheres to the organization's policies & procedures, and compliance guidelines.
3. Use of hand tools such as: shovels, rakes, brooms, hand trimmers, etc.
4. Operation of equipment such as: Zero turn / riding mower, tractors (with implements), plow trucks, push mower, weed trimmer, leaf blower, walk behind snow blower, etc.
5. Maintain College grounds by: mowing, trimming, raking, cleaning, weeding, snow shoveling, hauling/moving equipment
6. Clean maintenance equipment: vehicles, tractors, riding mowers, golf carts, etc.
7. Preform basic maintenance duties on all equipment mentioned above.
8. Performs other duties as assigned.
9. Per the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act (Clery Act), a federal consumer protection law, your job position entails functions that meet the definition of a Campus Security Authority (CSA). CSAs have a duty to report any crime to the College's Clery Compliance Officer. This information may be disclosed to them directly, through third-party, or witnessed. As a CSA, you are required to complete annual training which is provided by the College. This training encompasses your role, responsibilities, and reporting obligations.

Typical Qualifications

Education, Certification, Licensure:

• High school diploma
• Michigan Driver License

Experience:
