Major Graduate and Postdoctoral Recruitment Campaign in Maternal and Child Health!

The Azrieli Research Centre at CHU Sainte-Justine, affiliated with the Université de Montréal, is launching a major recruitment campaign to attract talented individuals interested in pursuing a Master’s, Ph.D., or Postdoctoral research project in the field of maternal and child health research.
Up to $2,500 in mobility scholarships may be awarded to selected candidates!
Many research projects are available, supervised by internationally renowned researchers, in a wide range of fields including:
- Neurosciences and Mental Health: neurosciences, psychiatry, psychology, neuropsychology, addiction studies
- Rehabilitation and Health: physiotherapy, occupational therapy, medicine, nursing sciences, social work
- Biomedical Sciences: cell and molecular biology, genetics, biochemistry, microbiology, immunology
- Genomics and Advanced Biology: reproduction, stem cells, epigenetics, genomics
- Methods and Data: statistics, biostatistics, mathematics, bioinformatics, translational research
- Public Health and Social Sciences: public health, epidemiology, social sciences
- Ethics: bioethics, clinical ethics
- Health Technologies: biomedical engineering

Mobility Awards
Eligible applicants (see the Eligibility Criteria tab) may receive a scholarship to cover travel and relocation expenses. The amounts will be determined based on the applicant’s place of residence at the time of application, as follows:
- Candidate in the province of Quebec: $500 CAD
- Candidate from a neighboring province or state1: $1,000 CAD
- Candidate in Canada or United States: $1,500 CAD
- Candidate from South America, Africa or Europe: $2,000 CAD
- Candidate from Asia or Oceania: $2,500 CAD
- Candidate from Nunavut, Nunavik, Yukon, Northwest Territories or Indigenous communities of Canada: $2,500 CAD
1 Ontario, New Brunswick, Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, New York.
Calendar
- Opening of the competition: October 1, 2025
- Deadline for applications: November 16, 2025 at 11:59 pm EST (extended)
- Virtual interviews: November and December 2025
- Confirmation of recruited candidates: December 31, 2025 (at the latest)
- Mobility Awards (decisions): January 31, 2026 (at the latest)
- MSc and PhD application deadline (UdeM):
- Admission in Fall 2026: February 1st, 2026
- Admission in Winter 2027: June 1st, 2026
- Start of the research project: Winter 2027 (at the latest)
