Coordinates the preparation of presentation and financial materials throughout the year for meetings with the senior WCM and Cornell governance officials, including the Board of Trustees, the Board of Overseers and the Business and Finance CommitteeDevelops and disseminates budget policies and procedures to the WCM community.Prepares monthly revenue and expense reports for operating budget; analyzes report for data integrity, variances, trends and cyclical events. Tracks and provides key financial indicators and analytics for major revenues and expenditures.Responsible for making presentations or lead training sessions to the WCM community, as needed.Works with institutional partners to ensure consistency in the classification of financial data in various systems, data repositories and reports; maintains periodic meetings with partners to coordinate changes or growth in the institution.Directly supervises the budget associate position and is responsible for all aspects of performance management for that roleLeads the preparation of WCMÂ's annual operating budget; develops and maintains budget models and tools for forecasting used in the development of the budget.Education- Bachelor's Degree in related field
Experience7 + years of experience in a financial-related role with at least 5 + years of experience working in a budget or financial analyst/reporting position. termediate to expert skills with spreadsheets, databases, presentation software, and internet research methods. Experience working in a higher education, not-for-profit or health care related organization
