Job Description

Reporting to Cluster Finance Lead, the incumbent will serve as the manager supporting finance functions for departments at the Bukit Timah Campus. The role plays a critical role in consolidation of financial data, produce executive reports, and drive cluster-wide financial transparency and actionable analysis.

The incumbent will be responsible for the development of the management reporting strategy and contribute to the development of the organization’s strategic goals. In addition to the strategic components, you will be leading the development, analysis, and distribution of management reports for senior leadership and department heads. This position ensures accurate and timely financial insights to drive data-informed decision-making, budgeting, and strategic planning. In addition, the incumbent would be in-charge of timely completion of grant claims/audits and to manage the financial operations at BTC.

Responsibilities

Financial Planning, Analysis & Reporting:

• Strategic Financial Planning, analysis & Reporting:Support long-term financial planning, analysis and financial & management reporting to the Senior Leadership, Finance Committee & Governing Board.
• Reporting & Compliance:Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial and management reports for leadership and stakeholders (eg. Budget utilization and fund balance report)
• Subject analysis and business insights: Support business insights and recommendations for income/cost optimization and relevant financial strategy.
• Benchmarking & Best Practices:Supportresearch and implement industry best practices in cost management and productivity analysis. Benchmark income or costs against peers and identify areas for improvement.
• Cost Allocation & Reporting:Support optimal allocation of costs across departments, aligning with priorities and funding sources. Eg. Work with units to prepare department-wide cost data in preparation of tuition fee adjustments proposal.

Process Automation and Operational Efficiency:

• Implement Automation Tools:Identify and implement automation solutions or workflow automation platforms, to streamline reporting and financial processes, improving operational efficiency and
