Manager: Campus Protection Services (CPS)

The UCT Department of Properties and Services (P&S) is responsible for managing all UCT’s buildings and properties and oversees the safe, secure, functional operation of the university. This includes project managing the construction of all new buildings, re-designing existing spaces, maintaining UCT’s entire property portfolio, access control, security, transport, traffic, cleaning, gardening, and environmental sustainability.

Among these diverse areas of campus management, P&S is responsible for making a significant contribution to campus life, through the planning and coordination of physical risk management.

The Campus Protection Services (CPS) team within P&S seeks to attract a Manager: CPS on a permanent basis, who will be responsible for the planning, initiation, implementation, and management of CPS and the Investigations unit. The role reports to the Director of Risk Services.

The ideal candidate would be competent with service provisioning, risk management and managing campus safety and security.
