About the Team
At the College of Health, Early Childhood Education and Community Services, we prepare students to work with some of the most vulnerable members of our community. Our programs equip future professionals to support people experiencing homelessness, mental health challenges, family violence, alcohol and drug dependency, and young people facing complex life circumstances. We also train students to design and deliver community programs that strengthen and uplift every corner of society.
Our teaching team is made up of dedicated, highly experienced professionals, including:
Youth workers
Community services and social workers
Psychologists
Counsellors
Alcohol and other drug (AOD) specialists

About the Role
You will be responsible for the management of high‑quality teaching practices and assessment across Community Services programs within Victoria University.
You will manage and customise learner‑centred training and assessment, support student progression, and maintain compliance with ASQA, VRQA and HESG requirements.
You will work closely with industry partners and internal stakeholders, you will manage continuous improvement, industry‑informed practice, and a positive, inclusive learning environment.
Salary: $129,129 per annum
Employment Type: Full time Continuing
Hours: 38 hours per week
Location: Footscray Nicholson campuses

About You

Experienced TAFE educator
Background in Community Services with significant experience an advantage

Compliance driven
Exceptional in time management and attention to detail
The University is a Child Safe organisation. You will be required to hold a current Working with Children Check (WWCC) or be willing to obtain one prior to commencing employment.
