"Manager, Faculty Admin Support (School of Computing)"

Description

To provide support on administrative work to Admin Director, faculty members and students.

Job Responsibilities

• Serve as secretariat for travel arrangements
• Coordinate meetings and take detailed discussion notes
• Coordinate the appointments of research staff, the engagement of students and visitors
• Serve as a liaison between researchers and vendors, managing and facilitating the procurement of goods and services
• Approve procurement of goods and services for amounts up to $500,000
• Oversee the publicity and logistics preparation for conferences and workshops
• Oversee the processing of payments and claims
• Facilitate and coordinate all administrative and formal grant-related processes in alignment with institutional requirements
• Manage reporting, expenditure, reviews, and grant closure
• Provide support for School administrative functions, including logistics coordination and event organization
• Provide administrative support to Admin Director on School-related as and when called upon.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree holder with at least 5 years' of work experience or Polytechnic Diploma holder with at least 10 years' of work experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Analytical, numerate, resourceful and energetic
• Able to multi-task and deliver under tight deadlines
• Proficiency in SAP or S/4HANA, Microsoft Office applications, and data visualization tools.
