POSITION/ROLE OVERVIEW
Administrative work at Lang/NSSR is collaborative, based on a premise of teamwork, and is student-centered. We are committed in our administrative staff to the same values that undergird Lang and The New School: civic engagement, social justice, and learning. Together we work towards Lang's success and the success of The New School. In this spirit, there is a tradition of contributing creatively and generously both within the focus areas of one's position and as needed and available in other areas.
The Manager of Academic Planning supports curriculum building for the Eugene Lang College of Liberal Arts (Lang) and The New School for Social Research (NSSR) within the Academic Planning and Curriculum Hub. The Manager works with the colleges' academic leadership, faculty, and administrative teams and reports to the Associate Director of Academic Planning.
