POSITION SUMMARY
The Manager-Radiation Therapy in the Department of Radiation Oncology directs the treatment team at the Proton Center Radiation Oncology unit who oversees and assists in the preparation and daily delivery of radiation therapy services. In addition, the Manager-Radiation Therapy is responsible for educating, guiding, coaching, and evaluating the work performance of the therapy staff. Ongoing collaboration with other areas of the department that relate directly or indirectly to patient care operations and services is essential. The Manager is key in promoting the Medical Center's mission, values and goals and creates an environment that supports these aspects.
Minimum Qualifications
For Hire:
- Meets all requirements for registry by the ARRT. Registered by the A.R.R.T. in Radiation Therapy Technology
- Bachelor's degree
- 5 years of supervisory experience, preferred
- Licensed by the State Ohio in Radiation Therapy
Ongoing: Meets mandatory education and health surveillance requirements. Demonstrates competence in technical, interpersonal and cognitive skills required to meet essential job functions.
