Temporary Position (Temp or Grant Funded) Details
This is a temporary position with an anticipated end date of November 30, 2027.Salary Range: $56,653 - $63,735 per year
Description of Job Function
- Communicates with staff and program managers, other college departments, and outside vendors as needed for program implementation and coordination.
- Liaises and communicates with educational partners in support of program delivery requirements, field experience internship placement, and generates program billing information.
- Assists in the implementation of new curriculum and in updating existing curriculum to meet students' needs and state guidelines. Reviews course syllabi submitted per semester.
- Supports the creation of the program schedule, including internship orientation, enrollment workshops, and events; enters schedule into the college's learning management system and departmental software program; updates schedule as needed.
- Schedules and confirms instructors for the programs, lab, and events; serves as primary contact for students and instructors.
- Coordinates new student orientations and acts as backup facilitator when needed.
- Assists with recruiting, hiring, and onboarding of staff and instructors; maintains instructor records; processes instructor payments.
- Hires, schedules, evaluates, and supervises EPI lab and Records Specialist staff. Approves timesheets for payroll processing.
- Coordinates a variety of events for students and dept such as advisory board meetings and open house events.
- Assists with the implementation of the marketing plan, which includes educational partner recruitment, direct mail campaigns, publications, and website submissions.
- Manages documenting program outcomes, including but not limited to departmental progress reports, including reports on enrollment, student activities, and revenue and expenses.
- Prepares and manages state/national reporting requirements and assists in data reporting for Title II grant and Educator Preparation Institute (EPI) as well as reports for the education programs.
- Maintains inventory and filing systems of educational and other materials; coordinates the collection of application and completion documents to demonstrate program results and maintains databases for state reporting.
- Purchases materials according to college policies and guidelines; coordinates company credit card functions; monitors program budget and expenses. Reserves rooms and coordinates A/V equipment for all program courses, labs, and events.
- Reviews and evaluates each student's cumulative portfolio for the EPI program and acts as the liaison with the FLDOE.
- Coordinates and prepares for the EPI site review in conjunction with the FLDOE
- Represents the Education programs at appropriate state-wide, college-wide, campus, division, and department meetings when necessary.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Minimum Education
Bachelor's Degree from a regionally accredited institution.
Required Field of Study
Education or related field.
Other Required Qualifications
Administrative support experience in an office environment.
Experience working with budgets and/or financial information.
Experience in coordinating educational programs and activities.
Preferred Education & Field of Study
Master's degree from a regionally accredited insitution.
Preferred Type of Experience
Teaching experience in K-12

General Working Conditions
This job primarily operates in a professional office environment. The employee will routinely operate standard office equipment including but not limited to computers, keyboards, mouse, phones, photocopiers, printers, scanners, filing cabinets and fax machines. While performing the duties of this job, the noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate.
Typical physical competencies include but are not limited to frequently remaining stationary, moving, reaching, positioning self and occasionally ascending/descending, lifting/moving objects weighing between 5-15 pounds. This job also entails frequently communicating, discerning and exchanging information, detecting and perceiving objects up close, at a distance, and the ability to adjust focus.
