Lead and Supervise Zone Maintenance Shop Daily Operations Technical Assistance Position ProfileEnsures smooth operation and upkeep of equipment and facilities through regular inspections, repairs, and preventive measures. Troubleshoots issues, performs maintenance tasks, and ensures compliance with safety standards. Ensures the upkeep and functionality of buildings and grounds to provide a conducive and safe environment for students, staff, and faculty.

Supervisory ResponsibilitiesManages a large team or multiple teams. Directly oversees at least 2.0 FTE employees or one or more supervisors. Has authority to hire, transfer, suspend, promote, manage performance, discharge, assign duties, reward, and discipline employees.
Fiscal ResponsibilitiesOversees large budgets, including departmental and program-level budgets.
Problem SolvingSolves strategic, organizational problems and ensures continuous improvement.

Physical RequirementsThis role requires a range of physical activities, including sitting, standing, walking, climbing stairs and ladders, crawling, stooping, bending, squatting, lifting, pulling, and performing repetitive tasks with both hands, including overhead work. Normal (or correctable) vision and hearing are required, and certain positions may also require color vision and a functional sense of smell.
Minimum QualificationsRequires a Master's degree in a related field, 8 or more years of related professional experience, and 5 or more years of supervisory experience, or equivalent education and experience.
Preferred QualificationsExperience in construction, skilled trades, or industrial maintenance.

Pay Rate: The target salary range for this position is Pay Grade 19 - $68,299 - $92,205, commensurate with the selected candidate's education and experience while considering internal equity. RELOCATION allowance or SIGN-ON BONUS of up to 10% of the base salary may also be available!
