If you're the person others turn to when a machine isn't running properly or a manufacturing process needs improvement, we want to hear from you!

What Makes This Role Different?

As a Manufacturing Application Technician, no two days will necessarily look the same.

You'll work across multiple manufacturing areas, including Contract Manufacturing, Machine Shop, Sharpening, and Quality. Depending on business needs, you might be operating CNC equipment, troubleshooting a mechanical issue, assisting with machine repairs, or helping Engineering improve a manufacturing process. You'll be both a hands-on manufacturing professional and a technical resource for the team.

  • Process Improvement: Participate in developing, testing, and implementing new manufacturing processes, equipment, and tooling.
  • Tooling & Equipment Improvements: Assist with fabricating, modifying, and improving tooling, fixtures, and      manufacturing equipment.
  • Quality & Precision: Use precision measuring instruments to inspect components, monitor quality, and ensure products meet specifications.
  • Root Cause Analysis: Investigate production and equipment issues and support corrective and preventive actions.
  • Preventive Maintenance: Assist with routine equipment maintenance and upkeep to maintain safe and reliable operations.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve safety, quality, efficiency, equipment performance, and      manufacturing costs.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with Manufacturing, Engineering, Maintenance, and Quality teams to solve  problems and support production goals.
  • Training & Support: Assist coworkers with  equipment operation, troubleshooting, and manufacturing best practices.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate production, maintenance, and process records.
