Marketing Affiliate Instructor
Position Summary
The Department of Marketing at Metropolitan State University of Denver (MSU Denver) invites applications for part-time affiliate faculty teaching positions. MSU Denver enrolls over 16,000 students, where nearly 60% are first generation and over 55% are students of color. Located in downtown Denver, we are a designated Hispanic Serving Institution. The University serves the most diverse undergraduate student population in the state.
Responsibilities
- Teach 3 - 9 credit hours, primarily Principles of Marketing, but could include International Marketing, Consumer Behavior, and other marketing courses. Most classes are on campus.
- Participate in program assessment activities.
- Be available for consultation with students.
- Work and interact with diverse groups of students, faculty, and staff.
Affiliate faculty duties include teaching assigned classes, preparing materials, grading, providing feedback, and complying with university policies.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of a Master's degree in the field.
- Substantial professional experience, normally at least ten years with increasing responsibility.
- For graduate classes, at least twenty years of experience with senior-level responsibilities.

Evidence of quality teaching in higher education.
Terms of Employment
Affiliate faculty are part-time, at-will employees hired per credit hour, usually semester-by-semester. Not eligible for benefits. Expected to teach in person/on campus.
