Major Duties
Under general supervision, the Marketing Automation & Engagement Specialist develops and executes multi-channel strategies to engage students, alumni, and partners. Responsibilities include building automated campaigns, integrating CRM tools, optimizing content, supporting social media, and applying data insights to deliver personalized, brand-compliant communications that drive meaningful engagement across the student lifecycle.

- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Equivalent to graduation from an accredited four-year college or university; Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Information or Educational Technologies, Business Analytics, or related fields preferred. An advanced degree in a relevant discipline is highly desirable. Equivalent of four years of full-time experience with marketing/customer relations software, marketing communications, customer relationship management, and/or integrated marketing preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
- AI-Enabled Tools & Automation Proficiency - Ability to deploy and optimize platforms such as Conversica, chatbots, SMS tools, and emerging automation systems to deliver seamless, personalized engagement aligned with student lifecycle goals.
- CRM and Martech Integration - Skilled in collaborating with IT and CRM teams to design automated workflows, including drip campaigns, lead scoring, segmentation, and content personalization that enhance conversions and student experiences.
- Campaign Development & Execution - Demonstrated expertise in creating and managing post-application and yield workflows, contracted program engagement, alumni communications, and dynamic email campaigns with attention to creative design, timing, testing, and reporting.
- Data-Driven Strategy & Optimization - Strong analytical skills to track campaign performance, prepare segmentation models, and leverage Customer Data Platforms (CDPs) to inform strategies, improve targeting, and optimize communications across channels.
- Content Creation & Social Media Engagement - Ability to support social media strategy through content development, campaign integration, and collaborative brainstorming to ensure brand-consistent communications across platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Instagram.
Pay, Benefits, & Work Schedule
The university offers an excellent benefits package, including but not limited to: medical, dental, vision, retirement & savings, tuition waiver, and more. Classification: Public Affairs/Communications Specialist / 0800 / 3. The anticipated HIRING RANGE: $4842 - $7164 per month, dependent upon qualifications and experience. The salary range for this classification is: $4842 - $8759 per month. HOURS: Full Time; 40 hours per week; Monday through Friday; may include evenings and weekends. This is a Regular position with a one-year probationary period. The position is currently hybrid (3 days in office, 2 days remote); however, this is subject to change based on student and/or operational needs.
