The Opportunity
Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (ERAU) seeks a dynamic, student-centered and forward-thinking Marketing Communications Specialist to support prospective student communications and enrollment marketing initiatives.
The Marketing Communications Specialist is a vital member of the enrollment marketing team and is responsible for creating and overseeing prospective student communications, including individual and mass communications, email marketing campaigns and print materials.
This position works collaboratively with internal stakeholders to develop communication strategies and materials that support marketing needs. The Marketing Communications Specialist also partners with digital, social media and creative services team members on cross-functional initiatives.
The Marketing Communications Specialist works with internal stakeholders to identify needs, establish goals and assess the viability of requests. When requests require print or digital resources, this position coordinates with the appropriate marketing team members. The specialist also works closely with the Associate Director of Enrollment Communication to write email copy and gather supporting assets.
Working independently, the Marketing Communications Specialist identifies student, faculty and alumni success stories; develops written content, including blog posts, newsletters and articles; and determines the appropriate channels for distribution.
The position is also responsible for maintaining degree-specific playbooks, content databases, communication flows and other collections of marketing materials.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in marketing and communications, proficiency with Microsoft applications, and familiarity with Salesforce and Marketing Cloud.
