Your next career opportunity
You will drive creative digital content and campaigns that showcase AURIN’s national urban research and data impact. You will collaborate with experts across academia, government and industry to translate complex insights into compelling stories. You will refine versatile skills in content strategy, stakeholder engagement, events and modern marketing technologies.
What you will deliver:
- Develop and implement integrated marketing and communications plans that grow AURIN’s visibility, engagement and impact.
- Create, edit and design high-quality digital and print content tailored to diverse research and policy audiences.
- Curate stories and case studies by interviewing stakeholders, reviewing research outputs and monitoring urban policy developments.
- Coordinate scheduling and delivery of eNews, social media, website updates and external communications across all channels.
- Support event planning and delivery for AURIN conferences, workshops and presentations, including contractor and supplier coordination.
You may be a great fit if you:
- Hold a degree or equivalent experience in communications, marketing or a closely related field.
- Bring demonstrated experience implementing innovative communications strategies and measurable results across digital channels.
- Use tools such as HubSpot, StoryChief, Canva, WordPress and Squarespace for content creation and distribution.
- Demonstrate ability to translate complex research and data into clear, engaging content for specialist and general audiences.
- Manage stakeholder relationships with data custodians, researchers and partners, ensuring accurate approvals and high-quality correspondence.
- Coordinate multiple projects, events and external contractors, maintaining strong customer service and confident internal presentations.

At AURIN in the Faculty of Architecture, Building and Planning, you will join a small marketing team. The team is collaborative, works fluidly and manages complex moving parts with autonomy and confidence. You will partner with leading academics, government and industry to apply geospatial and urban data for better cities.
